Candle Care

General:

Our candles are primarily for decoration. If you would like to light them, you should know that the burning time of the candle varies depending on its shape and volume.

Before you light your sinosh candle, you should observe the following safety instructions:

•Place the candle away from anything that catches fire.

•Since our candles do not come with a coaster and will melt, make sure that they are placed on a fireproof and smooth surface with a rim.

•Keep the wax surface free of wick debris, matches or flammable materials.

•Always place the candles vertically.

•If you light several candles, make sure that the candles are spaced far enough apart.

•Shorten the wick to 5mm.

•Never leave the candle unattended and especially not alone with children or pets.

•Avoid drafts when burning candles.

•If the candle begins to produce soot, extinguish the flame, remove the soot from the wick with scissors or a wick trimmer and light the candle again.

•Never use liquid to extinguish the candle.

•After you have extinguished the flame by smothering it, do not move the candle but let the wax harden first.

•You can light the candle again at any time, just make sure that you do not let it burn all the way through but extinguish it early.

•To remove wax residue from the base, hold the bottom of the mold under hot water until you can separate the wax block from the base.

•You can always remove wax residue with a warm, damp cloth.

•You can easily wash off wax on your skin with lukewarm water.
